Q: What bills can I pay through automatic deduction?
A: You can automatically pay Buckeye Lake Sewer, Prescott Estates Water and Sewer, and Harbor Hills Water.
Q: How will I know what amount is being taken out of my account?
A: You will receive a bill just as you do now. The deduction will also show on your bank statement.
Q: What if there is a problem with my bill?
A: Call or write us as soon as you receive the bill. We will make any corrections before we send it to the bank for collection. This will be on a case by case basis.
Q: What if I have an unusually large water bill?
A: We try to question unusually large bills before they go out. You will probably receive a telephone call from us to reread your water meter.
Q: Do I have to have an account at your bank to use this service and is there a charge?
A: No. Most banks, credit unions, savings and loans, and other financial institutions can participate in this program. There is no charge by us.
Q: Why are payments deducted from my account on the 10th of each month when the actual due date is the 15th?
A: By making the payment on the 10th we are able to correct any problems should there be complications with your checking account.
Q: What if I don’t have enough money in my account?
A: The payment is then treated as an insufficient check. You will be billed for the amount due plus the current insufficient fund charge and a late fee if applicable.
Q: I want to close my current checking account. How do I stop the automatic deduction?
A: Our office will need a 30-day written notification from the customer when a closed checking account is involved.
