| The Adult Court Services Department is located at the Courthouse located at 1 Courthouse Square in downtown Newark, Ohio. |

| The primary mission of the Licking County Adult Court Services Department is to assure public safety by supervising offenders placed on community control for felony crimes as well as supervising people awaiting Court actions for criminal indictments. By providing effective correctional interventions to criminal offenders, the Licking County community is safer as offenders become law-abiding. |

| Specialized services include Chemical Dependency Supervision, Sexual Offender Supervision, Mental Health Supervision, Diversion, Basic Supervision, Community Transition Supervision, and Child Support Enforcement supervision. Opiate Suboxone maintenance program in conjunction with Licking Memorial Hospital, Shepherd Hill, Licking Alcoholism Prevention Program, and the Licking County Municipal Court
Expansion of electronic monitoring for Non-Support cases and pre-trial release cases to assist in the alleviation of jail and prison space issues.
Intervention Court utilizing intensive supervision of drug and mental health clients collaborating closely with the Judiciary being actively involved in supervision and treatment of the offenders in conjunction with Licking Alcoholism Prevention Program and specialized supervision of offenders to divert offenders from prison in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Corrections targets for reduction of prison incarcerations
