Mission Statement

The mission of The Licking County Engineer's Office is to provide prompt, courteous service to the public, while fulfilling our obligations set forth by the Laws of Ohio in the most efficient and cost effective manner possible.

Income Sources

The Licking County Engineer's Office operates with two primary sources of income. The County's proportionate share of vehicle registration fees in the county. And the County's proportionate share of gasoline tax from sales at the gas pumps. The annual operating budget of the Licking County Engineer's Office is approximately $5.9 million. The primary use of the budget is to operate the County Tax Map Department and the County Highway Maintenance Department.
