Case Manager
To manage child support cases in accordance with federal, state and local laws and procedures. In addition, the employee processes appropriate documentation for child support cases and testifies in court if necessary.
Clerical Specialist 4
The primary purpose of the Clerical Specialist 4 position is to prepare advanced-level correspondence (i.e. documents which require a great deal of understanding of technical or legal language and applications) (e.g. legal briefs, affidavits, tax comparison charts, financial statements) independently with strict time pressures. This work insoles the prioritization of assignments by the Clerical Specialist 4. In addition, the Clerical Specialist 4 is responsible for performing various administrative duties, such as interpreting policies and procedures for other workers, and organizing and coordinating the work of others. The Clerical Specialist 4 is also responsible for performing additional clerical functions as necessary. The Clerical Specialist 4 works more independently and is performing duties with greater latitude.
Animal Control Officer
Serves County as Animal Control Officer. Provides customer service and administrative / clerical support for the Animal Control Office.
Deputy Director - Administration & Planning
Ensures County is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws pertaining to Homeland Security/EM/911 Services. Identifies areas of improvement and recommends changes to the Director.
Building Services Technician
Keep building in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties include notifying management of the need for repairs, and performing general custodial services.
Maintenance Technician
Maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the building, grounds, and other physical assets of the Department.
Assistant Operations Superintendent
Assists the Operations Superintendent in managing the daily activities and functions involved with operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities, collection, and distribution systems.
Transit Dispatcher
Responsible to assist in the overall transportation services by providing direction and communications with all driver operators at the same time as monitoring transportation services to determine when necessary to make scheduling adjustments to maximize on-time performance, minimize passenger wait times, minimize service disruptions as a result of vehicle and driver operator availability and/or emergency situations.
Children Services Social Worker (Intake & Assessment)
Licking County Job & Family Services is seeking a dynamic individual to provide quality services to families and children in the area of Children Services intake and assessment.
Performs necessary functions of the daily operation and maintenance of treatment plants.
SENIOR Programmer Analyst
Under general supervision from the department head may lead lower level programmer/analysts on Information Technology Services projects involving the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications for streamlining, automating, and integrating the operations of all county agencies.
Clerical Specialist 3
To prepare intermediate-level correspondence (i.e. documents requiring the use and understanding of technical language and applications) (e.g. case files) fairly independently according to standard operating procedures and instructions, and/or operate data entry or data verification equipment and check for accuracy and sufficiency of data to make corrections and adjustments, and/or perform specialized clerical tasks. In addition, the incumbent provides additional clerical support as needed and prepares routine, repetitive documents. The employee must use discretion in determining compliance with prescribed procedures or statues and resolve discrepancies or initiate corrective action. The clerical Specialist 3 works more independently, carrying a larger case load with more complex problems and is checked by the supervisor at longer intervals than the Clerical Specialist 2 with greater latitude.
Technical Study Director
The LCATS Technical Study Director is responsible for the LCATS, MPO for Newark urbanized area operation; assures compliance with federal and state transportation planning requirements, and oversees the completion of complex transportation plans, studies and efforts. The person in the position manages the LCATS section of the Licking County Planning Commission/Licking County Planning & Development Department, manages operational and capital budgets for the metropolitan planning organization (MPO), and develops budgets, reviews indirect cost allocation plans, performs employee reviews, address personnel issues, maintain files, and respond to public information requests.
