This is a $2,000 scholarship from Central Ohio (which includes Licking County) and the criteria are: Must be a high school senior; Must have at least a “B” average (cumulative) or equivalent overall GPA; Must be a U.S. citizen and a resident of a county in Ohio; Must plan to attend a university, community college, training program, or vocational school in Ohio and seek a career in public service.

PUBLIC HEARING: To Consider the Designation of a Restricted Area to Prohibit the Construction of Large Solar Facilities in Liberty Township

The Liberty Township Trustees, by way of its Resolution 2023-09, requested the Board of Licking County Commissioners designate all of the unincorporated area of Liberty Township as a restricted area so as to prohibit the construction of large solar facilities as that phrase is defined under R.C. § 303.58 R.C. § 4906.01 and used in R.C. § 303.57 et. seq.
