Etna Township Comprehensive Plan

We are currently in the process of preparing a new Comprehensive Plan for Etna Township. A Comprehensive Plan is a planning document used to guide our township’s land use policies. The Etna Township Trustees have appointed a number of township residents to serve on a Comprehensive Planning Committee. This committee is being assisted by the Licking County Planning Commission.
 
Included on this webpage is a survey which will be used to obtain some very important feedback from you, the community. The Comprehensive Planning Committee will incorporate the collective community wisdom expressed in the survey responses into the proposed Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan will be an important source of guidance for the township as we move into the next decade. Township ordinances and policies should conform to the recommendations of this plan, so what you tell us is important. The survey is your chance to express your hopes and concerns for the future of Etna Township. Let your voice be heard. Because we want this truly to reflect all of our community, we are hoping to have a high rate of response. It is the Comprehensive Planning Committee’s intention to have a draft Comprehensive Plan ready to be presented at a public hearing in the Fall of 2009.
