Adopt-A-Road Program
Introduction
Since 1993 Licking Countians have worked together to keep our county and township roads clean. Be part of the solution… join the Licking County Recycling and Litter Prevention's Adopt-a-Road Program.
In order to be part of the Adopt-a-Road program, individuals, families or organizations must fill out a short application, have a safety session with our department and then clean their two miles of roadway three times a year. You will also need to have an insurance policy (such as homeowners) that would cover you or your organizations in case of accidents. Our department will provide you with trash bags, safety vests and safety signs. Once the clean up is over, our department will collect the trash.
A sign will be placed on your road recognizing your efforts to keep Licking County clean. Only roads that are designated county or township roads are part of this program. If you want to be part of the Adopt-a-Road program complete the application form or contact the Licking County Recycling and Litter Prevention Department at 670-5125.
