Tire Collection Day - Spring
(check upcoming events for exact date))
Each spring we have a tire drive (often in conjunction with our annual
appliance drive). We take your tires, for a small disposal fee, and send
them off to be recycled. By utilizing our annual tire drive, you eliminate
old tires from around your home and keep water from gathering in those
tires and creating a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
Note: There is a recycling fee. Ten tire limit.

booth and helps to present programs in the Natural Resources Area during
the Hartford Fair. We encourage families to visit the Natural Resources
Area to visit our booth and other booths, as well as to participate in
programs such as the frog jumping contest, wild-game cook-off, duck race
and many of excellent presenters.
Note: There is no fee to enter the Natural Resources Area once you
have paid to enter the fairgrounds.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day - Fall
(check upcoming events for exact date))
The household hazardous waste collection day is actually ever other year
in Licking County (our collection day is during even years, i.e. 2010, 2012
and so on). This event is funded specifically through the CFLP (Coshocton
Fairfield Licking and Perry Counties) Solid Waste District, and on years
that Licking County is not hosting an HHW day, other counties in our
district will be, so please check the CFLP Solid Waste District’s website
(www.cflpswd.org) for that information.
Note: NO paint, appliance, tires or furniture please!
