Licking County Veterans' Service CommissionState of Ohio Veterans' Information
Ohio has established several benefits for veterans. Employment assistance is available through Opportunity Links and veterans receive priority status. Education assistance is available to the dependants of deceased or severely disabled wartime veterans through the war orphan's scholarship fund. Veteran license plates are available through the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Free fishing, hunting and camping licenses for totally disabled veterans are available from the Ohio department of wildlife. The Licking County Veterans' Service Office can offer assistance in the application of these benefits.
