Evaluations/Safety Assessments. Conduct evaluations utilizing instruments designed to assess specific areas of concern, and provide reports to the court prior to hearings.
Bio-Psycho-Social-Assessments. Conduct comprehensive family assessments inclusive of family strengths, needs, resources, youth’s risk areas, and problem areas. Complete written assessments and provide them to the court prior to hearings.
Emergency Assessments. Conduct emergency assessments at the request of Court staff when a youth in the Court’s custody makes suicidal or homicidal gestures, or has suicidal ideation.
Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling. Provide individual, family, parenting, couples, and group counseling services. Counseling services will be provided in the Family Intervention Services office, at the family's home, at the youth's school, or in the community as needed.
Advocacy. Intercede on behalf of the youth and/or parents who may be in conflict with other systems, or have difficulty navigating the court system.
Provision of Information and Referral for services. Provide the family with information and linkage to community agencies and services.
