Job Details

DUTIES:

• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
• General building maintenance, renovation, and construction activities.
• Landscape and Turf care - mowing, edging, planting, fertilization, and herbicide application.
• Janitorial Support- trash collection and removal on parking lots and open space. Assist with facility cleaning duties.
• Alerting the supervisor of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
• Maintain a professional courteous manner with all visitors, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all departmental, State and Federal guidelines.
• This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

Qualifications and Required Knowledge:

Under the general direction of the Maintenance Technician and Facilities Manager, assists in the maintenance of the building, grounds, and other physical assets of the Department.
