July 26, 2019: Art & History on the Square

Join us from 5pm-8pm in downtown Newark, Ohio on the lawn of the Licking County Courthouse for an evening of fun, local art and history! There will be exhibits from the Licking County Records & Archives Center, the Licking County Historical Alliance partners as well as local artists and vendors.

August 4-10, 2019: Hartford Fair

Join us during the Hartford Fair to see our new exhibition on the best practices for preserving your family treasures! Learn more about the Licking County Records & Archives Center historic county government collections and our mission.

August 13, 2019: Free Community Scanning Event

We are pleased to host our second annual Free Community Scanning Event! We will be offering 30 minute scanning appointments from 4-7pm on August 13, 2019 to help you digitally preserve your family photos, documents, records, and other treasures. There’s a limit of 10 item per appointment at our discretion, and every item will need to have a metadata form to go with it, you can fill it out early or the night of the event. To guarantee your spot please RSVP by Monday August 12, by calling 740-670-5121 or emailing us at Appointments are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis; walk-ins are welcome but we cannot guarantee your spot.
