Bid: Alterations - 65 E. Main St.

Sealed bids will be accepted and opened at the listed dates and times reflected in the Notice to Bidders. Sealed   envelopes   containing   bids   must   be   addressed to   the   Board   of   Licking   County Commissioners, 20 South Second Street, Newark, Ohio, 43055, and project name  endorsed on the outside of the envelope.

Alterations to 65 East Main Street Building

Complete specifications, including contract and proposal forms and full information for bidders may be purchased from Key Blue Prints, Inc., 195 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43215; Phone: 614-228-3285. Plans and Specifications may be examined at Wachtel & McAnally Architects/Planners, Inc, 35 South Park Place, Suite 350, Newark, Ohio 43055.

All bids submitted shall meet the bond requirements of Section 153.54 and/or Section 153.57 of the Ohio Revised Code.  Successful Bidders shall conform to State of Ohio, Prevailing Wage Laws pursuant to Chapter 4115 of the Ohio Revised Code.

The Board reserves the right to accept the lowest and best bid.  If, in the opinion of the Board, the acceptance of the lowest bid is not in the best interest of all concerned, the Board may accept another proposal so opened or reject all proposals and advertise for other bids.  The Board reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.

A pre-bid conference will be held at the job site, 65 East Main Street, Newark, Ohio on November 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. All prospective bidders are strongly advised to attend the pre-bid conference. After the meeting the bidders will be allowed to inspect the job site in its existing condition. Any bidder’s wishing to inspect the interior of the job site after this date shall contact the Architect to arrange site visitation.

All questions regarding the Plans and Specifications should be addressed to the Architect.
