You and all Licking County residents are invited to attend a joint 'public' swearing-in ceremony this Thursday afternoon December 22nd at 1:00pm.
The location will be in the West Courtroom on the 2nd Floor of the historic 1876 Courthouse in the center of the Square in downtown Newark.
The Courthouse is under construction and the covered entrance is on the east side of the building.
Those being sworn to office on Thursday include Commissioners Tim Bubb and Duane Flowers, Common Pleas Court Domestic Division Judge Duke Frost, Engineer Jared Knerr, Recorder Bryan Long and the Deputy Recorders he employs, Sheriff Randy Thorp, Prosecutor William 'Bill' Hayes, and Coroner Michael Campolo.
The ceremony will include the presentation of colors by Newark High School's highly regarded Air Force Junior ROTC Color Guard!
Attendees should arrive early to allow time to park on the streets and arrive inside the Courthouse.
