Licking County Recycling Offers Free Paper Shredding Sept. 30th

The Licking County Recycling Department, in partnership with Licking County Records & Archives, will host a FREE paper shredding event on Saturday, Sept. 30th, 2023. The event will be held from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Licking County Highway Department garage complex at 775 E. Main Street in Newark, near the intersection of East Main Street and O’Bannon Avenue.

Licking County residents are invited to bring personal papers and other documents for shredding; no documents will be accepted from businesses. All documents and papers must be securely boxed or bagged to ensure privacy and security (please do not tape boxes shut). There is an eight-box limit for each vehicle. The actual shredding of the material will take place offsite at a secure location by a certified shredding company.
